At Christopher Academy, there are many opportunities to support the school financially. These fundraising efforts help contribute to the full educational experience and offset the cost of tuition. Our parents, grandparents, alumni, trustees, friends and the business community are an important component of our fundraising efforts. These fundraisers contribute to the overall financial success of the school.
Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund allow us to invest in added resources and provide new opportunities for our students and faculty. 100% of your gift directly supports school programs and student enrichment. As an independent school, Christopher Academy does not receive government support to subsidize the price of an education. Christopher Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Your support allows Christopher Academy to:
- Retain and hire quality teachers
- Enroll a diverse group of children
- Maintain and expand our technology program
- Promote educational innovation in the classrooms
- Enrich our academic programs with field trips and outreach programs
- Provide an exceptional art and music program
- Maintain a safe and clean school through building maintenance
- Provide financial assistance through the Annette Crandall Scholarship Fund
- Expand our library collection through the Linda Morgan Library Enrichment Fund
Every Gift Counts: Every gift has a direct impact on our students and is an investment in a child’s education. High rates of participation in fundraising efforts from our families show support from within our Christopher Academy community and, therefore, directly endorse our school when applying for grants and support from foundations and private corporations. The higher percentage of parent participation, the more likely we are eligible for corporate contributions and sponsorships. Also, many companies encourage employees to make charitable contributions by matching their donations for eligible non-profits. Consult your Human Resources office to find out if your employer has a matching gift program. Please remember that every dollar counts, and no gift is too small.
